Our inclusive and comprehensive approach ensures that pupils thrive academically while benefiting from outstanding pastoral support, exciting opportunities, and excellent facilities. We are committed to helping every child develop their unique strengths and personalities within a framework of resilience, mutual respect, and community spirit.

Our unrivalled curriculum and committed teaching staff ensure that pupils achieve to the best of their ability. The school offers a dedicated Lower School for Years 7 and 8 and a wide range of GCSEs and IGCSEs. In the Sixth Form, pupils can select to study for A levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. At Haileybury, a caring environment is crucial to a pupil's happiness and fulfilment. Around two-thirds of pupils are boarders and boarding life is varied and fun. On joining Haileybury, boarding and day pupils are allocated to one of the Houses and are welcomed into their House community. There is an emphasis on pastoral care with around-the-clock support from the Housemasters and Housemistresses, as well as an on-site Health and Wellbeing centre providing a circle of care. Haileybury is a home-from-home, with a warm and friendly feel.

A key part of Haileybury’s philosophy is empowering each child to follow their passions and build self-confidence. Beyond the academic curriculum, pupils benefit from a vast array of activities, including professional sports coaching for all and regular visits from speakers and performers from the arts, sporting and academic worlds. The co-curricular programme is packed with opportunities, from climbing and scuba diving to filmmaking and Model United Nations - and countless more activities in between. Haileybury also encourages pupils to immerse themselves in the Creative Arts. Drama, Music, Dance, LAMDA and Art are at the heart of school life and the School takes pride in hosting spectacular productions and showcases each term. Haileybury’s ambition is to provide pupils with the best facilities for all aspects of their education. The new Science and Technology buildings offer the latest technology and provide the space and opportunity for pupils to participate in innovative initiatives, such as the global Stan-X programme, a pioneering study of genetics in partnership with Stanford University.
