The Beacon take first place in tech tournament

12/01/23: Children's author Julia Jarman visited The Beacon School in Amersham recently to inspire and educate the boys about her books. She spent time with Year 7 talking about her inspiration and the writing process and then treated the Pre-Prep boys to an excellent workshop.

11/11/22: Over 80 poppies crafted from clay by pupils at The Beacon School and Heatherton School are now on display in Amersham. The joint project between the schools brought together Year 4 pupils to commemorate Remembrance Day.

21/10/22: The Beacon School celebrated a wide range of scholarships, awards and exhibitions to a variety of senior schools. At the heart of the curriculum is the Pre-Senior Baccalaureate (PSB) which promotes skills such as independent learning, critical thinking, leadership and team-working.
