St Columba's College raised £1,000 for Youth Talk, a local charity which provides free, confidential counselling to 13-25 year-olds in the St Albans area. The fundrasing was the result of a Christmas Jumper Day held in December.

St Columba's College presented a cheque for £1,000 to Youth Talk, a local charity which provides free, confidential counselling to 13-25 year-olds in the St Albans area.

The fundrasing was the result of a Christmas Jumper Day held in December.

David Barker, CEO of Youth Talk, said: "It was wonderful to meet the students and staff at St Columba’s College.

"HUGE thank you for supporting the vital work of the charity and local young people."

The charity aims to ensure that every local young person has a safe place to talk in confidence.

The money raised by St Columba's College will help provide 20 more counselling sessions for young people in the local community who need support.
