The first ever Fettes College girls cricket match was played on Tuesday 25th May with the XI playing a 15 over match.
With half the team playing their first ever match, the result was a superbly exciting game played in great spirit between both teams.
This was a historic day and one that has been long awaited.
One of the four key elements of the sports programme at Fettes is inclusivity and therefore the school recognises the importance for all students to have access to a variety of different sporting opportunities.
The school is delighted that these talented students were able to showcase their cricket skills in their first competitive Fettes match and look forward to many more matches to come.
