A Level stars are shining at St Mary's Calne
St Mary's Calne students have achieved impressive A Level results, despite the disruption of the last two years, with over a quarter of all grades awarded being A*s.

St Mary’s Calne is very proud of this year’s Leavers, who have experienced a tough and unprecedented couple of years.
As the students were unable to sit their GCSEs, these A Levels were the first external assessments they had taken, and the school was delighted by their resilience and by their very impressive, well-earned results with over a quarter of all grades awarded being A*s.
The girls will be heading off to a wide range of leading universities including Oxford, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Courtauld Institute of Art, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Imperial College London, Loughborough, Newcastle, UCL and York.
In addition, students are holding offers for top international universities in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Spain and the USA.
Head of St Mary’s Calne, Dr Felicia Kirk said: "The whole school wishes to congratulate this year’s Leavers on a truly superb set of A Level results.
"Despite the disruption of the last couple of years, the girls have really stepped up and been determined to give their very best, and these results reflect their determination and their spirit. ‘Calne Girls Can’ as our motto says!"
"My sincere thanks go to all of the academic and pastoral staff who have supported the girls on their school journey and enabled them to flourish.
"Good luck to all of our Leavers as they move on to the next stage of their education, and I hope that they come back to visit us in Calne in the future to inspire other students."
