The school, which has excellent facilities including an outdoor classroom, science laboratory, language suite and swimming pool, is committed to the care and education of children up to the age of 11. The Magic Tree Day Nursery extends the school’s happy environment to children and babies from the age of three months. Youngsters enjoy a wide variety of stimulating activities including yoga, Forest School, swimming and music. Children at Belmont Grosvenor School receive an excellent and broad education, having access to specialist teachers and facilities and a wide range of extra curricular activities, educational visits and residential trips. Pupils achieve well above National standards and are thoroughly prepared for transfer to secondary schools where academic, music and sports scholarships are common.

Preparatory: Years 3-6 £3904 per term; Pre-Preparatory: Reception - Year 2 £3296 per term; Pre-reception Full Time £3296 per term, Per full day session £665 per term, Per morning Session £379 per term A minimum of 4 sessions is required in Pre-Reception. This may comprise full days, mornings only or a combination Supplementary Charges After School Care: Homework Club (4-5pm) £10 per session, extended hours/emergency care (5-6pm) £10 per session, late collection/unbooked emergency care (5-6pm) £20 per session. Lunch: £321 per term. Lunch is available pro rated for Pre Reception children by prior arrangement. Individual Music Lessons: £17.50 per half hour. Our admissions procedure varies according to the age of the child.
Parents seeking a place in Magic Tree Nursery may request entrance at any time of year and will be offered sessions subject to availability.
Parents seeking a place in Pre Reception, for the academic year in which their child turns 4, are invited to bring their child for an informal meeting with the Headmistress after which a place may be offered subject to availability. Children already in Magic Tree Nursery will automatically receive an offer of a place in Pre Reception.
Pre Prep children (Reception to Year 2) will be invited with their parents to attend an informal meeting with the Headteacher and for the child to attend a taster/assessment session after which a place may be offered subject to availability.
Prep children (Year 3 to Year 6) will be invited to attend an entrance assessment and taster session that will include an interview with the Headteacher. A place may be offered subject to availability and the child meeting the necessary standards for entrance.
Subject to availability, we offer places to all children to whom we believe we can provide a relevant and suitable education, appropriate to their needs.
