Scholarships, Bursaries & Fees
Our External Scholarship Competition is open to new pupils entering Belmont in Year 7 or Year 9. Subject to the quality of applications, we may offer scholarships in Sport, Music, Drama, Art, Design Technology, Information Technology or an All Rounder Scholarship (for which academic potential must be demonstrated in addition to at least one other discipline).
With regards to Bursaries, The Board of Governors at Belmont School is committed to broadening access to the school by offering to eligible parents means tested financial support with the payment of school fees.
If you would like to apply for a bursary place, then please read the Bursary Policy on our website.
Following an Open Day or an individual visit to the school, parents may choose to register their child for entry. The usual points of entry are at 3, 5, 7, 11 or 13 years and the Registrar, Miss Charlotte Smith, will advise you as to the age appropriate year group for your child. Means-tested bursaries may be available from Year 3 upwards.
Early registration is strongly recommended. At this stage, a registration fee of £100.00 (£150.00 non UK) is payable. Following registration your child will be invited to spend some time with us and a report will be requested from your child's current school.
Children will be offered a place on a first come, first served basis, subject to our Admissions Policy and Procedure. Once the Headmistress has confirmed an offer of a place (which may be conditional) in writing, you will be asked to confirm your acceptance of that place within 3 weeks and at that stage an Acceptance Deposit of £500.00 (£2,000 non UK) is payable.
For further details, or to arrange a visit, please contact Miss Charlotte Smith on 01306 730852 or by email (email@example.com).
