You could take a walk round the 20 acre grounds and take in the wonderful wooded Surrey countryside, our rowing lake, the new sports centre, all-weather tennis courts, adventure island, wooden fort, swimming pool, croquet lawn, rifle and pistol ranges and come to one conclusion – you were standing in a boys’ paradise.
About the school
Aldro is a small day and boarding school for 220 boys aged 7-13 set in 20 acres of stunning Surrey countryside. With a rowing lake, new sports centre, all-weather tennis courts, an adventure island, wooden fort and swimming pool it really is a boys’ paradise. Aldro offers an outstanding education combining academic excellence with a breadth of extra-curricular opportunities. The boys have the freedom and space to keep hold of their precious childhood and, combined with high academic standards, are meticulously prepared for the next stage of their lives.
Academic life has to be at the core of a successful school and Aldro has an outstanding record of success over the past ten years with the scholarship boards speaking for themselves – boys go on to all the top public senior schools and last year saw Aldro boys win a record number of scholarships to them.
